Tracking

Overview

The InPost Tracking APIs provides real-time visibility into the status and location of parcels throughout the delivery process. It allows merchants to monitor their shipments, receive updates on delivery progress, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Data retention

Tracking data is retained for 121 days. After this period, the data is no longer accessible via the Tracking APIs.

Events & Versioning

Tracking events follow a versioned schema to support forward evolution while preserving backward compatibility. Each event includes a version identifier that defines the schema and logic applied when the event was emitted.

• V1 is supported indefinitely.
• All subsequent versions are supported for up to 24 months from their introduction date.
